How does the r520 (or the t39) show the pictures taken by this cam ? Does it transform them in black & white ? Is the resolution of the screen good enough to see the pictures ?

I think you can't actually see the pictures on the screen, unless you don't send them to other device, such as a computer, PDA or email, in fact I'm only sure about the last option :-/ that's why the email client must work in order to send the pictures somewhere.

Ok. I've looked on SE site and the resolution is quite poor : 352 x 288 pixels ! It's not better than a simple webcam but, well, that's true, it only costs 10 dollars !

ahh, boba, that's a totally different song. I thought you could choose where to send them, other way the cam is useless nowadays.

User manual on SE's site is a bit enigmatic : "It's a snap-on camera that lets you take colour snapshots and send them as e-mail via your mobile phone - a fun new twist to messaging". And later: "Recipients get the picture - with no words necessary". It seems you can send the pictures directly to someone's phone, no ?

Someone's phone that has an email account set up. you can't send them directly to a phone, that would be MMS.
