I hear you loud and clear.... I had a dead phone thanks to davinci.... credit bought b4 hand to via some one that had a spare going.... It all is wonderfull theoretically...

There is a snagg though I dont have a theoretical phone nor do I want to have a really dead phone...

They are as good as a hammer....

How did you do that? When i connect my cable to the phone it just keeps turning the phone on.

The first time I tried updating my phone, it couldn't get past 50%. I get an error saying it is unable to communicate with the phone. I tried switching off my antivirus and firewalls, did a full reset and guess what, it went all the way till 100%. I now have a working k750i with the new R1N035.
There are just some issues I'd like to note. After the successful update of my firmware, my pc now sees my phone as a w800 and not a k750. Although I've got the w800 drivers as well, why is it not seeing my phone as a k750? My phone model info still displays K750i.
And also, after I updated the firmware, the theme was Eternal, I checked and switched to the default theme and guess what, the default theme is an orange walkman theme that looks like the one on the w800. Is it just me or do you all have the same thing going on?

I do have the same thing except the orange Walkman theme. Also when i did a master reset after flashing my phone says W800, too not just my PC. Try it.

The only very bad thing is that i don'T have just English language? What about you?

My phone language is only English. I didn't do a master reset after the update. After I did a master reset, the theme was gone. But I have saved the theme onto my memory stick.

After I did the master reset, my phone says w800i! Wierd. But I don't have the w800i walkman features. It is still the k750i media player.

Same thing here. The only thing i really really miss is the languages!!!!!!! Andhave you realised that JAVA apps can't execute bluetooth? Weird, too..

It would be nice if when the phone was flashed we would have a fully fledged W800i under the bonnet.... At leat its more stable than the K750i.

I just took the battery off and the following time I plugged it on the pc with the cable I was holding c since I was doing the recovery.
If you try to turn it on before or to plug it normally to the pc, it will keepp on doing the reset.
Btw: I had the firewall and all other stuff disabled all the times.
I don't know why that time worked, I supposed because of the "trick", since it was the only thing I changed from the previous times..

P.S.> also in Italy we are experiencing k750 converting in W800..
So.. what's going on? It's not a matter of website then..
Shouldn't the update service change from country to country? It seemed weird we had the same problem.
