Has anyone got any further updates? this thread is nearly on the second page! (well not now!!)
I haven't tried calling o2 for a while... has anyone else??

No further update from me. Please call and ask for them to check the date next to your number on the HRM system. If they say they do not have the ability to check it, say you want to speak to someone who can (usually retentions).
I have noticed they have delayed the K610im until mid Nov as is the case with the Nokia E50. I am not sure what O2 are upto but many of their handsets are being delayed.
Also noticed a thread re Orange stopping the sale of the P990i once they get through current stocks etc. Obviously the phone has some issues which are magnified once the software is butchered. No wonder Voda chose to leave the UI etc well alone!!!
I am expecting the phone to be released at around 20 November onwards so will keep you posted on anything I hear etc.

I got the Nov 6th txt over the weekend, not going to bother calling o2 now until then I recon....interesting about Orange though....

Personally I think o2 online are a bunch of muppets and that if you want to get a good deal theres no chance in hell anymore, to avoid dissapointments just try bugging the shops!
My friend got told he couldn't upgrade to a N80 and when he went to a o2 shop he was able to have it for £180 + if he traded in a old phone he'd get £30 off... he changed his mind and went for the 6280 in the end lmao! ! ! !

After regularly being told Nov 6th I decided to stop torturing myself and not call again until then. At least that's better than being given a different date every day or thinking you'd actually ordered one for a day!!

Current date for the P990 from O2 is Week Commencing 6th Nov, been having problems with the firmware apparently.
