Crazy rip off over hyped crap.

£270 for a sim free unlocked phone sounds like a bargain to me!

Sorry FatReg seems i misunderstood something along the way. Yes sim free price thats great but i was refering to the iphone being mostly avialable on contract costing the earth and apart from few features and a great screen i think the phone is over hyped. There are other phones out there far better and more desirable.

You're not obliged to use the contract. I just bought a 16GB one, before you activate or mess about with choosing a contract you just unlock it and jailbreak it so you can install 3rd party apps and you can use any SIM you want.

If im honest im not a huge fan of touch screen phones. Also having played with one in O2 store the iphone is one fingerprint magnet and apart from nice screen i would not go mad about it. My last touch screen phone was P900i.

Sean, your completely right..

it's too much on contract you have to pay £269 + 18 months of £35 which in the end costs towards £800 ouch..

has anyone actually gone for those deals with 02?

handset should cost about £179.99 ideally,
if it ever ends up on 02 prepay well they prob sell it for £600

but then relise it's not selling then dropit down relistically

I wouldn't pay £329 if I had to commit to an 18 month contract aswell.

But SIM free £329 as a completely different ball game.

Especially since I'm selling my K850i now. I should get £250 for that since it comes with 4GB M2 and HPM-90, which would actually means that the iPhone cost me a total of £79.

Awesome.
