o2 do have it instock or at least did when i rang to upgrade mine two weeks ago, but the trouble with o2 is that with thier telesales the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing! i rang for the upgrade only to be told it wasn't in stock until jan 15th so i hung up and rang back and the next bloke said they are in stock he was lookin at them and he would post one to me!!!

as regards branding they have barely touched it!!

Last week, O2 told me that they had none in stock until December 2nd, and that I should try to get them from an O2 store. However, although O2 stores appear to have them in, they say I can only get a phone from retentions. Which is irritating.

Hi,

My music files are organized in the walkman by title name, and not by artist name, as I like. Is there a way to configure it?

Also, the problem with some mp3 files continues: some songs (not completely sure, but I think it's mainly older files) start playing and by some obscure reason the w950i stop playing them and skips to the next one.

I tried formatting the memory and it didn't work, the only thing that seems to work is to download the music again (thus having a more recent mp3 file for the same song).

Has anyone had the same problem?

Cheers,
Ricardo

@jowow

Do you mean the phones theme itself or the walkman skin?

If you just mean the phones theme, it is under tools> control panel> device> Themes.

i think he means custom themes

in which case you would need some photos and a theme creator - or there are downloadable sites such as mobile9 who have themes for many of the phones around today.

@ t69iking

o2 have plenty of phones in stock - they just greedy and some of the staff keep them for themselves - especially the supervisors and above(i know this used to work in one)

also they have sneeky looks as to how your contract is run and if its worth giving you the latest phones - but i guess most companies are like that now *sigh* ive had my moan.

but my input is this - o2 have plenty of the w950 and the sirocco. i got a sirocco for my business phone upgrade and the w950 for personal - you just gotta kick up a big enough fuss really

My W950 with about 1GB of music works fine on all tracks. I did format it before adding any music. I always use the File Transfer option and connect to the USB port not a hub. Have AAC and MP3 files, all ripped from CDs.
