Usually you shall upgrade a phone if you notice bugs, otherwise its fine like it is. Expecially if you got 700Kb in it. If you upgrade it, you might lose them and get 500 instead. So its up to you. If your cellphone works without any problems, MMS, GPRS, e-mail and other stuff, then you might not have to upgrade it.
But usually an upgrade makes the phone faster, and even get better kapacity over all.

I have a few things to say about this phone and would like to share with you. Bought in Ankara, Turkey in April for around 300usd.
First, the (outer) screen protector is a crap. It got scratched really easy and VERY BADLY after 2 months I got the T310. That thing is a cheap plastic, shame on you SE. even the old r520 had a VERY durable glass on top.
It is sloow. For a former Nokia user it takes forever for me to navigate through the menus.
Finally, I have a camera attachment that came with the camera, like most of you. One thing to say about the camera and the T310 connection, it is a joke! You need to move or copy the PIC to the camera first and then try to send to the PC (IF you ever can! read below), so it is not built for heavy use of the camera.
After 2 months and several attempts I still couldn't manage to upload the pictures to the PC via IR. It tries to connect to the PC and does connect but it will not send the picture. Download seems to work fine though. Anyone managed to UPLOAD pics to their PC's here with T310?

It shall be possible to send PICs through the camera via MMS or e-mail. I cant believe that they removed that feature from the T310, because T300 has it.

It's not T310 problem, that it can't send stuff to the computer. Probably you have Tekram 210B or othe IrDA 1.0 specification IR. It will not work with T300/T310 like it should. Buy 410u Tekram - the problem will be totally solved. Menu is not fast because of the color display - it is a problem of all 256 displays and it is not only SE either...
