Yup, T-Choice with original warranty card. Other counters are selling Rm1500 above. My set info:
Handset 0325
Batt 0324.

Mine is with Chinese input 'coz the ones without Chinese input all come in 0320 latest. RM50 more for CHinese input. Do u guys know if there are other differences between the chinese and non chinese besides the input method? Although I don't understand chinese, I got the chinese one 'coz it's newer. I'm wondering now if the Chinese set has less free memory or maybe some other features has been removed to accomodate the chinese input feature.

Do post back if you guys found any cheaper shops. Planning to get another one. A very nice phone indeed.

I have some problem with my set though compare to the 1st one.
1. If you notice properly, in cam mode, many complain there's a white faint line across the screen. Point the camera lens to a black paper or your black wallet, you will see it if it's there. Parachute pic also clearly shows that. No problem with the 1st set though.

2. the back top part near the mirror attachment hole is not cover properly. I found it's slightly 'pop out'. I worry it might get losen over the time as reported by some users.

3. Colours are uneven, perhaps because of the back lighting. This happens to all T610 and most obvious with dark-coloured themes or background.

I wonder if you all have the same problems?

So far I don't see these problems on mine. However I do have a problem trying to send SMS via BlueTooth using my Tungsten. Anyone has a working program that can be used?

SE-Fans, is your version R1L? I am going to get one from Ericsserve, don't trust Sg. Wang so much though they are definitely cheaper. Anybody know Ericsserve's contact number and to whome can I speak to? Want to check the availability first before going, hate Amcorp Mall parking.

Anybody kind enough to list down the things we need to check on the phone upon buying? Lazy to go back if bought a defective one, my luck isn't that good most of the time... hehe

Actually that's why we had to make sure that the unit is a T-choice unit 'coz it's serviceable at Ericserve. I've called Ericserve today and they said the R1L firmware for units with Chinese input is not available yet.
I feel my set has worse signal if compared to other normal phones. Even compared to my friend's other model SE phone and his signal is better than mine. Mine always goes to SOS CALLS ONLY. Same service provider. Wonder why....

Finally I bought it!
T-Choice warranty
Chinese version
Hardware R3A 03W25 and W24 for battery
Firmware R1A081 (R1L not yet available for chinese version)
F.O.C handsfree
RM1420 at Sg Wang (Bought from friend, let him earn, lazy to bargain about price)
All conditions so far so good
Tomorrow I'm gonna visit Low Yatt Plaza for Cable/InfraRed port, any suggestion about the choices?

shadow, u should get the Bluetooth key instead of the infrared so you don't have to point your phone at the IR device all the time.

hi guys,
At last!!! i'll be getting my 3rd set of T610 from Ericserve on thursday. according to Jeff, it's a latest one, 03W25 n above with chinse input. but not the R1L. like shadow said: (R1L not yet available for chinese version). what do u all recommend: chinese input without R1L or
R1L sets?? Can any one plz summarize the pro n cons of the new unit and new firmware? cuz i m a bit lost here....
just a simple one will do! thx

zenz:
Ericserve phone no: 03-79573922. the only one there i know is Jeffrey.
can try giving him a call . as for the list, i m not so sure....cuz i m still using the 03W19.

SE-Fans: i think i might b gettin the same phone with same firmware as urs. i will try to look out for the problems u mentioned.

I would go for the newer set. And also, units with Chinese input is RM50 more than those without, so the value is also higher!

Hey, anyone facing issues with signal strength on their T610? I seem to be having this problem even when compared to older SE phones lah..
