@srmz:
I am sorry i have no idea about Lahore's ISPs, therefore, i cant say if NEXLINX provides DSL or not.
DSL is only between you and the ISP, what they do is, they convert your existing copper line to DSL, as a result you are able to surf the net at very high speed, including high download speed and broad-band. It will also benefit you like your telephone line will not be busy while u are using your DSL connection. As the charges are fixed per month restricted upto a max of data sent and received, normally its 1GB, you can enjoy suring without worrying about net hours getting exhausted or slow download speed. You can easily download updates from Microsoft web site which on normal connection takes ages.
Some ISPs offer their own modem at rent and some will ask you to buy one from them. Consequently, it will become your property even if u decide to change the service provider.
I hope this must have removed lots of ambiguities from your mind, if anything is still unclear, just let me know!

@Zainman Stop spamming the web site. Just post something intresting as for as region or country is concerned, it makes no difference on the Net.

Sooner or later you'll see yourself bilal. I'm not spamming and yes it makes a HELL lot of difference if you discusss technology on some international website or local, as the international people tend to be sick of other people. Anyway, my forum is also open to international readers and viewers. Enjoy

@ bilal: No yaar, he is not spamming. I think we need to encourage Pakistani wap forums. That will be our basis of self reliance on wap sites. Can you name right now how many wap sites are out there by and for Pakistanis? Almost none.
@ urashid: I am with you mate, Ufone GPRS is the best around. Stable and reliable. Its real satisfying. Doesnt leave you frustrated.
And whats the url of your "WAP" site?
