hmmm, not sure about that, the problem could stem from the actual firmware the fighter team created. because they had to make a custom firmware i suppose something was bound to go wrong.
remember this is the first release of a new firmware.

the information i just wrote came from the person who made made the firmware. i think he could mean he used the old p900 bluetooth firmware for the p910 upgrade.
the latest p900 firmware is R5D (bluetooth)
if someone with a p910i could kindly tell us their version it would be appreciated.

That is as for the firmware that SE provides. It is in no way connected to what I put after removing that version. Only thing that happens is that SE obviously doesnt support my variant.
Who owns the IPR on the hacked firmware that is floating around?
Also, the reason why SE doesnt sell firmware is not because they think there are not many takers... It is for the simple market mathematics of survival. If they stop supporting their gizmos, they will die coz everyone else provides them. Remember, all firware upgrades focus on fixing problems. If windows is not supported, why wont many people shift focus elsewhere? This is even more true for expensive gadgets like Px00; just like corporate clients of MS who wont buy anything which lacks support.

They ARE different BT chipsets. I don't see how they could be the same firmware. Production P910's are shipping with version R2C, and the P900's latest version is R5D.
Lead (the main Fighter programmer) said he will have a GDFS patch that SHOULD fix the BT issues, but I am very skeptical of this.
As for screen flicker, after taking a second glance, there is a TINY bit of flicker. Not really noticeable unless you REALLY look closely.

Am I correct in assuming this can be fixed by replacing the screen with a P910 screen, once they are available for purchase?

1GB cards aren't out yet. And no, you cannot use a larger memory stick than 128MB on the P900.

Yes, installing a P910 screen will probably fix the slight flicker problem. No guarantees though. The flicker really isn't that bad, and I've only seen it happen on about 50% of the conversions I've done (23 so far).

You will need to convert your P900 to a P910 to use 1GB MS Pro DUO cards when they come out. Currently the conversion causes some Bluetooth issues, but it's possible that these will be resolved in next few weeks (maybe less).
