It could be the cdma versions.
SO-02C is for Docomo (GSM) and IS11S is for au KDDI (CDMA).
And since the index is difference from Docomo's version of Arc (SO-01C), it could not be the CDMA version of Arc.
It should be another phone.
Acro is Akane, right?
no
Acro = Azusa

Since HTC has recently announced the EVO 3D that will use Qualcomms dual-core running at 1.2GHz for availability sometimes during 2Q, maybe SE wont be far behind, since they also use Qualcomm ?

SE for me only if at least on par with GS2 or Htc Pyramid. SGS2 seems so strong on so many fronts that perhaps only a xenon flash + lens cover could make me go for a SE. 2 core Arc or sth like that won't be enough at all. And I think they won't go for 960x540 resolution this year.

Sony Ericsson has inadvertently leaked a new smartphone in its Android Xperia range. The Xperia acro is making an appearance on SE’s PC Companion software tool in Japan. The Xperia acro is said to be very similar to the Xperia arc but will address some shortcomings that are important to the Japanese market. Think of the acro as a slightly fatter Xperia arc, with NFC capability, TV Tuner and infrared (more important than Bluetooth for most Japanese).
Two different versions of the Xperia acro are flagged, the SO-02C which is the GSM version likely to be carried by NTT DoCoMo and the IS11S, which will be carried by KDDI’s CDMA network. The hardware will be near identical to the Xperia arc apart from the above changes. This includes a 1GHz single-core Snapdragon, 4.2-inch display and 8.1MP Exmor R camera. The handset is expected to launch between May/June this year.
