guys, i've a problem that i hope someone can help me with.
i've a k700i that i've used for 5 months but then about a month ago the audio went dead, i sent it to the SE Concept shop in MegaMall and said that the software was corrupted and worse of all the phone went dead completely! when i tried to turn it on it just blinks! then i sent it to SemiCon in SouthMall and they said the same. the problem is that the two shops don't want anything to do with my unit. saying that they can do no more for me. even an upgrade will be futile.i don't think there's anything wrong with the hardware as it's never been dropped or have been through any serious trauma.
i had the phone bought for me in Germany by a friend who is now assigned in Nigeria so i can't send him back my unit and the receipt was also lost by my said friend when he gave me the phone early last year.
i aready e-mailed SE about this and am still awaiting their reply but i'm not taking any chances. so i'm hoping that someone can help me in my predicament. please...

619: You only need the cradle to flash your phone right?
Do they sell that in GH? And probably how much is the cheapest?

duo: ive had a similar problem with my K700- i took it to semicon, they had it for 1 month but they gave me the same shitty answer. turns out their flashing software/devices are pretty limited in function.

Would it be unthinkable if Globe decides to offer 3G services to compete with Smart's WiFi (which isn't WiFi)?
Up to now, Globe or Innove/globeQuest aren't offering a competing product.

3g is gprs/usim based
smart wifi doesnt need gprs/sim card and was a meridian before.. i dont think globe/innove will offer such.

I am having trouble setting up my Z800 to use GPRS.
I called SUN to send me the settings, and they sent me a message, but it can't download it because of some settings.
Can anyone help?

make sure you do a master reset/reset settings first, so you clear out whatever crap reconfiguration you have
