Took the a2618s apart, put the charger port back in it's rightful place (someone had taken it apart and not put it together properly!), and it now powers up! So far working perfectly.

btw what's the difference between the a2618s and the a2628s? As I suspect I have 2 2618s, just one's in a box for a 2628.

Will post a few more pictures if you like, the S868 in literally in as new condition, not a scratch on it! Although the battery only seems to last a few hours, but hope to get a few more batts in cheaply soon!

uhh...guys hope you can help me on this one. i got a t68i question. i recently got my unit's lcd replaced by a 2nd hand unit because the one in mine got cracked when i accidentally dropped it. when i had the used lcd installed i noticed some light "burns" on the bottom of the screen. and the first time i opened my phone the lcd seemed darker in resolution. the guy whom i vought the lcd from assures me that it's ok and that the source unit he cannibalized it from just died on him. my question is: would the "lcd burn" that i'm talking about affect the life-span of my phone? i already had my phone for more than two years now and have no plans of replacing it anytime soon. hope any of you guys can reassure me.

Yes, the guy sells its t28 World cheap because it is "terminal locked".

Anyone knows what does this mean ? I think if you lost your password the phone must say "phone locked", not "terminal locked".

Strange...

Think it is just saying phone locked. The text labels of world(american) version could be little different compared to s version.
