@nirubhay: Woah, you're brave, man! After reading this tipic you still dare to upgrade.

I'm going to check if SEUS is back, now (phone is on the charger ).
Thanks for sharing the piece of info.

BTW I got R1N035 too (without my language, yet) and i got PA11, too.

just updated my k750 now it is k750i again! and not w800 like it was after previous update. Files downloaded by SEUS:

HL1_125952-EU1-MR2_000000_0000_R1N035
HL1_125953-EU4-MR2-B_000000_0000_R1N035

the first file is same, the second one is different from previous updates, its not 0000 and not 0003 like it was with two previous corrupted updates r1n035.

Please post your updates experiences here.
If the update skipped from 50% to 100%, and if phone still has an identity crisis....
And tell us what customization is in the phone (EU1, EU2, etc...)

i did not have any problems with update, everything is fine, phone is eu1, and content version is PA19 again. Windows detects k750i now (it was w800 after previous update to r1n035). If you had problems with previous update, i think you can try one more time

I'm definitely going to try.
Just wanted to know if the service is ok. And it looks like it...

I think i spotted the difference:
HL1_125953-EU4-MR2-B_000000_0000_R1N035

or maybe not.

Yep, works perfect for me too. It's a K750i now. And PA19. But what does it mean?

And also: i got back some pictures which were removed after first master reset. Really weird..
So i'm really happy now. Got my languages back (after a master reset)

Are the problems only found after a full master reset, or after the update it;s self, as I have never had to do a master reset, and mine updated OK about 10 days ago, and works fine, but after reading through the thread, all problems seem to be after people have done a reset, but it does not mention having to do this after an update, and I do not want to loose any data on the phone. Mine is a Orange network version, and the update still says it is, so if I had to do a reset, would I then get the above problems on mine.

@volvoman

I am pretty sure if you do a full master reset then yes you will loose all your data on the phone and even content that is not included on the firmware...

Now if you do a settings reset only this loss of data does not apply... since all your doing is reseting the settings on the K750i to default factory settings or in this case the settings your mobile had when you received it....

The second option is optional after a firmware upgrade... But I would do it no hesitations... The benefits are to ensure that all upgrades to different s/w on the phone are applied and reset to default...

Sometimes an update is not applied 100% until a settings reset been applied...

What people have been doing (to theire misfortune) is a full master reset why I will never know, since this doesnt benefit anything...
