Love the phone, especilly noe I have changed the brigt orange theme to the black one - much better.
Has anyone been able to set personal ringtones?. I can change the default tone for calls and for messages etc but personal ringtones don't seem too be recognised.
Any thoughts?

That's a bug...
If you turn off the Bluetooth radio, you'll find that they work just fine.
Appears to be a problem in all of the UIQ3 devices and not just the W950.

Thanks for the quick response - perfect answer, they work fine now.
Hopefully a firmware update will sort it as I use bluetooth a lot (sync's the address book & calendar with my work laptop and my car kit).

I re-boot about every 10 days and I no longer use SM - I use the current production firmware, nothing special
Phone is a generic version no branding.
Will be trying the BB client in the new year when we move away from vodagrone

I found that the 1st 2 secs of my mp3 ringtones is always distorted. Anybody face the same problem?
I tried to lower the bitrates, convert to wma, wav etc but still the same problem.....

Is there any database software available for UIQ 3 yet? I know handy database is not available yet....
Was a WM5 user and looking for a database software for UIQ 3 to replace my ListPro data in WM5.
So far i am pleased with this phone except for no database software and mp3 ringtones first 2 secs distortion problem.....
