I am pretty sure he is in his late 20's or early 30's. Pure genius, indeed...

Hi Guys.

Anlog and the other gentleman I forgot his nam try flashing only the bluetooth chip with a normal p900 flash file and see if it works, I don't know if fighter can do it but I know UFS can. Try it and give us some feedback please
Yusuf.

I didn't flash the bluetooth at all - just the phone AVR and the PDA part. So my bluetooth is still R5D as original P900 (and it doesn't work properly).

As the developer said, I think the problem must lie elsewhere (in the GFDS?) so the call-outs from the P910 firmware are different.

That leaves two choices - update the phone part to use R5d-type calls (probably not) or modify R5D so that it supports the P910 calls on P900 hardware (which is different from the P910). I think that's probably the way to go...

I hope Lead comes up with a solution - it's very nice as it is, and would be perfect if BT worked.

BTW - the above could all be nonsense - I am by no means an expert in this stuff, just an interested punter!

pity it doesn't work with the p900 flash, you say that you didn't flash the avr cpu (Bluetooth part) perhaps a reflash might work but then again maybe not, you are right though I think the interface between the GDFS or the CDA (Organiser) cannot interface correctly with the old bluetooth chip, but have faith it won't be long before someone figures out who to make it work,

One more thing, in the new version of fighter software can you unlock or flash K700 because if you can I'm gonna order mine today, UFS is just taking to long to support this phone

Thanks

Check the fighter support forum - I'm not a phone unlocker, just a P900 owner. So I don't know the full capabilities of Fighter...

Fighter cannot flash or unlock the K700 yet (NO program can), but it is just around the corner (my guess is weeks away).

You cannot use that device with Fighter. UnlockCellular.com sells Fighter with the necessary hardware for 249 USD (I think).
