AT&T 3G uses 850 in North America, and not 800. But the Sony Ericsson Press Release shows a North American model with 850: http://www.sonyericsson.com/c[....]tgenerationminisfinal-20110505

I'm slightly confused as the Global site does not show availability for either the Mini or Mini Pro in the United States:

SE's been kinda screwy lately. UMTS Band V is 850, which the Americas use. For some reason, they've been listing it at 800 for the pro, neo, mini, and mini pro on their website (800 is Band VI which is only used in Japan). On the white paper, though, it's listed as UMTS Band V (for the mini, it says UMTS 800 (Band V), which is.... inaccurate).

@rog-Just a word for if the dual core would be announced in q2 or q3?

I really don't know... But my guess would be not before Q3, maybe even Q4.

Personally, I think finished off their portfolio this year.

Every market segment already filled up from head to toes.

I don't think will show up with dual core this year
because they wait for best chance to optimized with native OS supported
don't even think about overall market supported anyway, just very early beginning
shouldn't wasting their budget on yet unclear future IMHO!

Google I/O in coming weeks probably make something much more clearer situation with dual core from

Personally, I still have little hope to see NovaThor application from ST-Ericsson by CES/MWC 2012

To sum up, the phones that could be in the works are:
CK15 - a cheap qwerty phone, probably a Yendo successor
W15 - an Android Walkman
A X8 successor
W995 successor - I'm still wondering whether it'll be a feature-phone or an Android device?
A dual core phone - not going to appear anytime soon...
Is that all?
