You used to find them embedded into the front windscreen. It looked similar to the heater element for the rear window.

Well, not all...
K750 R1CA021 for sure, and probably W800 too... Don't think other phones support patching (like W810)

I have used the patch that allows you to "listen" to the radio without a headset on a friend's K750, but all you heard was only a buzz. I put a key in the headset port, and I could pick some signal, but it still was too weak.
But that was indoors, and tried with only one station...
