No SE fan or buyer would purchase a phone that has less features than the other.
When we buy an SE phone, we do it because it is FULLY loaded.
Why would i want to buy a P series phone without a cam or a keyboard,etc...?

Hehe! I disagre... then why are there SE fans who still buy a k700 when there is a k750? because they don't have enough money.
And in the threads about the P990 I read a few times that people would like a lighter version (ie. something around 100g) Also a lot of people said that they would remove the keyboard if it would be possible, so there are people who would buy a P series withouth the qwerty keyboard. Just search the forum, you can find a lot of discussion about 'flip vs no-flip'.

Good point there, mate. It is clear that by its current stance, SE leaves out a significant market.
Of course, like a few of us have mentioned earlier and in times past, it may not be that SE is uninterested in giving multiple choices. It could be a financial restraint issue. SE is basically a regional player compared to some other brands and may not have the cash to play around with.

I believe the pseries phones are just fine the way they are. If you want a unit without a keyboard, go look for another smarphone without one. Without a flip, go find something from another manufacturer.
SE cannot please everyone. I buy the pseries phones and I keep my flip on because it adds so much more to the phone that without. Others might have a different opinion. And SE might not be releasing 60 different models of their flagship just because it might be the way they want to do business.
Speculating about their marketing strategy isn't going to help.

Good point, lor. Yes, SE cannot please everyone. No manufacturer can. Personally, I dont use an SE at present for that very reason. I have used quite a number in the past though, but I am not a brand loyalist. If they have what I need, I buy. If they dont, I look elsewhere.
I stepped in here because its always amusing to see some loyalists dissing another brand that's obviously doing something that works!
But in the final analysis, the point really is, if a brand does not have what you need, go get a brand that does

Ok let me start of with the first SE phone I had bought. The T68i, I get it not because I like the design or what ever !!! I get it because it have MMS, BT,IR, EMail, WAP, and other things which other phone manufactorer cant satisfied me !!
When my T68i started to defect, I look for Smart Phone cause it suits my needs as a computer/technology freak lol

I cant live with out pc and internet, and laptop are way too heavy for me to carry along......And my choice is SE P910i smartphone ^_6
P910i have its own limits such as no GPS (bah a bit dissapointed P990i also dont have GPS) , wifi, radio, and etc......
About the brand?
I trust SE because of the quality not because of the brand itself....

@hyperken: Looks like we are in the same minority boat. I buy my phones based on functionality. I needed a laptop replacement, so I got myself a Nokia 9500. At the time, I had a P800 but didnt quite fit in as a proper laptop replacement.
Now, unfortunately most people are not like you and I. Again, even where they are, having a few options to pick from a brand obviously means more people are likely to buy that brand.

Well, I don't have much options

I've been anti nokia for years and I can't stand the instability of ppc (I was a pretty avid ppc fan once) . So symbian is the only thing left for me. The pseries has done a great job and so far, the p910i has everything I need. I particularly love the design and I needed something with a good phone function. Considered Motorola once and decided against it.
But, with the new additions. It would make sense to upgrade to the p990i. I already have the laptop, and everything else. The p baby was the final piece.
