ever since i got my p900, the only phone to ever tempt me to leave the P-series was the HTC wizard.
but now that the p990 has been announced, i am pretty sure i'll stay in the p-camp.

i need a smartphone. do not want regular phone with teeny calendars and crappy contacts etc. it has to be a smartphone, and it needs to have a touch-screen.
and it has to have the flip, so i can use it as a normal phone when i want to text or call.

so basically, any other phone is out of the question.
been in the phone-only camp, moved on to phone-and-pda-combo-camp, and then i came to the p-series-camp.

if you do not use your p910 to keep track of your appointments, enter data regularly and almost never use the stylus, then you might not really need it, and might want to get something "simpler", as in more of a phone since the smartphone functions are useless to you.

Sold my P910i amonth ago, Now back to my trusty T68i, hard to believe that this phone was once the most technically advanced phone of its time. Currently waiting for Orange to release the SPV M5000 (HTC universal). P990 is just too far away for me to consider at this stage, Especially as i'm due a FREE upgrade this month. Two weeks ago I sold my P800 and bought Z800 and must say that I really miss my P800 already. Once you get used to large screen, stylus, real HTML browser and other smartphone stuff all non-smartphones feel “empty”. Will definitely switch back to P-series when P990 is released.

Regards, Igor

Can't remember if I said this earlier in the thread or not, but there's no way I'd change away from the P. Now to go make a new site section for when the P990 comes out with an entirely new interface which is not compatible with the rest of them ... *sigh*

I'm an X P900 owner. The p900 served me for about 2 years. I decided to switch to K750 for a few reasons.
First, the phone felt dead. No new software, no software updates, not to mention, the phone started to feel limiting and old. Secondly, I got sick of the interface, so i decided to go with simplicity with the k750. Thirdly, the K750s 2MP camera was irresistable

After the switch, i must say i dont regret it all. The K750 is a great phone and SMALL. In fact, im sticking with the K750 untill P1000

Though the P990 does look tempting sometimes.
