i just bought a P900 off ebay, and its perfect. You should aim to pay about £90-£100 for a fully boxed unlocked phone.
things to watch out for are : Two chips arent in the side of the screen (these are common in used P900s because the keypad just does it). No marks on the screen.

yep its fine, you've just got to be careful of people's feedback, even if their new. if your selling, make sure they send the money first, and if its a cheque or likewise, wait until you recieve it...

Got feedback of almost 800 over two years and only really had two problems - both sorted out.
I bought my P900 on eBay and everything went fine.
Make sure you read the sellers feedback and preferably use a traceable payment such as Paypal. I know it costs the seller but what the heck!

If you think that someone is about to try to pull a fast one then transfer all the money out of your paypal account. They cant take money from your card without your sayso. I havent had this problem myself but have had people not sending items and I have claimed but because they no longer have the money in their account they money was never returned to me.

Never had any problems, except for a zero rated guy in Italy who bought a quite expensive bit of hifi from me - language was the problem, but it all got sorted out in the end. The trouble is you never know whether zero rated ebayers are genuine new customers or scammers - we've all had to start on zero feedback.
If you are suspicious about an item, give it a miss. I've avoided getting into bidding for items a couple of times because things looked a bit shady - sure enough, the guy was a crook.
Good luck to those waiting for phones/money - hope it all works out

I trust ebay... but Paypal is a different matter...
You just need to have your wits about you with ebay transactions - check the sellers feedback and if the wording/spelling/design of the old and current listings match up!
Also steer clear of the "the Ask Seller A Question button doesnt work, please send an email to
blah@blah.com!" coughhackedaccountcough!

There's a load of those 'hacked account' auctions on Ebay, I've noticed, especially in the mobile phone section. You know the ones - selling fourty N90s from an account whic h has only previously bought and sold something like beanie babies, whose 'ask seller a question' button has mysteriously stopped working!
