all ready got a firewall built in and macs are hurt by silly viruses...
@ luke, building a list atm of what i can give you,, as for my mighty mouse, not gonna happen matey, i need it for win xp!

Right well if i knew what half of those programs were it would be start but anyhow the following are all available for mac:
Limewire
Firefox
DivX Player
Real Player
Windows Media Player (normal and intel macs can use flip4mac to play wmv files in quicktime, normal macs can also download full wmp application intel version rewquires flip4mac)
Msn Messenger
Microsoft Office
Quicktime
Adobe Reader
WinAmp
WinRaR (use stuffit deluxe instead, much better)
MP4 convertor (well there are just loads of them i only use mp4 convertor to make videos for my ipod)
DVD decrypter (mac the ripper is an alternative)
As for all the firewall/virus protection you do not need any of that crap as macs do not get virus's.
If you tell me what all the other programs are then i will find alternatives for those to.

@ jagger - a load of bollocks, the intel macs are some of the highest specd lappys around, i font know of may lappys that have a intel duo cor processor 2ghz and that are under a inch thin for 800 quid
Anyway please dont turn this into a mac vs windows thread we know whats better and thats all that matters
