Although I am excited with the P990, it would be a pitty just to put aside my wonderful P900. I have it for more than 2 years, and it satisfies me 100%. I will use it until it dies, and then I will go with the latest P series at that moment. As long as the P900, no other phone will replace it.

I'm a happy P900 owner and I just thought about why I actually want to change out this wonderful phone with P990.

Is it just the search and need (oh what a need ) for new devices that justify the buy of a P990?

The better camera? - yes but a function I rarely use...
QWERTY? - I prefer using my pc for word editing
WIFI? Now there's a reason perhaps
Memory? - I could just upgrade to P910 or maybe just P905

The size is the same anyway

No... I know the P990 is a great phone, but my point is that maybe we in our "hunger" for this new device forget how great the "old" P-series actually are?

I really love my P900 and will not upgrade until the P990 is stable and comes down in price. I really like to have wifi and more memory.

I have a p910, and I just see the p990 as the natural progression. For me it builds on features present in the p910, to offer something that would be very useful for me day-to-day. Although not necessarily a feature which is essential for some people, the wifi capability is one of the selling points for me. Mon-Fri, I'm virtually always within reach of a wifi network, and on the weekend if I'm at home I have my own wifi to use.

I've been on P800 for almost two years now.I want to upgrade to a used P910i since l will be getting the P990.Well after the drop the price in about a year or two.Comparing the P990 to a P800 you can see the difference. It will be good upgrade for me.

It will also be a good upgrade for P9xx owners as well - the point is just that there is no need to hurry since we already have great phones that can do alot of things ;-) This message was posted from a P900

How is status now? Are there any P900/P910 owners left ? Or is it all P990 ? :-)

You all forget media player of P990.
Much much better than the one of P900.
And... A2DP. If you think that A2DP is useless, than get a 2 GB card and HBH DS970 as I did and you will for sure change your mind.
No wires, phone can rest where it is...in your pocket while you play music or talk on the phone.
qwerty keyboard is also very usefull.
