Hi Pretty new to this so please be patient!I have a K800i which works perfectly Most of the time but every so often my screen shows Inactive Sim instead of the Orange logo.To resume service I have to switch my K800i off and on,and its fine again.Ive changed handsets and SIM cards but the problem still occurs.Any help appreciated.

After 3 times you should learn! DON'T turn the phone off!!! Seems a bit odd you are getting exactly the same fault everytime.

That happened to me one time, so i took off the battery cover and the battery itself but i dont remember taking off the sim card out as well but then again it wouldnt hurt if you did take out the sim card. After putting everythink back in i had no problems since then.

Anyone had the same problem? You think there'd swap it? Im on contract. And would they give me a temporary phone if they send it off. Because im not to keen on still paying for my contract per month if im not going to be able to use it! I've tried taking the battery out and the sim card, connecting it to my computer, puttin it on charge and it wont work!

I may be wrong but the Inactive Sim problem can be network related. When i used to be on Vodafone(poor network) if i had my phone sitting idle for hours with no activity it would say Inactive Sim on screen. Now this i believe can be when a network is busy or congested and your not using your phone it can disconnect from the network until you use it again. Now i could be wrong but its bad if it is as you cant recieve incoming calls or texts. This happened on an old Nokia i used to have too. I am pretty sure its the problem.
