Exactly. With only one seller, the market isn't exactly for the price-conscious buyer...Hopefully in a week though? I can't wait much longer!!

It's at $420 on ebay, while the k800 is at about $400 flat. I expect (hope) for the 790 to dip below the 800 soon. I think a few more days should do the trick. If it hits 375, it'll be en route to my house :!

Its price is Rp 4,250,000 or about USD 464, while K800 is Rp 4,450,000 or about USD 486.

If someone sees a K790 in the store, can you check the firmware and see if the phone is quad band or tri? I really need to know if the K790i is quadband.

all specs I've read says that it's triband.
K790a: GSM 850 - 1800 - 1900 for Americas
K790c: GSM 900-1800 - 1900 for China
K790i: GSM 900 - 1800 - 1900 for the rest of the world.

Yes, it's correct. And add an EDGE makes K790 a quadband phone.
