Guys, he already bought the Sony Cybershot H5 so no need to argue. Besides, a camera is just a tool.

@black - Is the Sony H5 a - 5 or 7 MP cam? Sony is having some discounted prices on it's digicams right now, so goes with almost all of the other digicam brands in the metro . . some at 0% interest for 12-24 mos. etc. cash buy-out gets around 2-4K OFF the original price . . . How's your S3IS doing mate?

@black - OK, thanks! Actually I've seen that H5 in the Sony brochure . . . just got confused if it's a - 5 Mp or was that there's an H7 - 7 MP (Sony)

Is your S3IS a - DSLR

Because all I know is that DSLR cams always starts at - 8 MP? Right or . . . left?

Powershot models are not classified as SLRs. The Canon Powershot S3is is more of a hybrid like the Sony Cybershot DSC-H5 and marlonski's Panasonic DMC-FZ30 in the sense that it has some manual features found in SLR cameras but it also has auto options for point-and-shoot ease of use. It's using smaller sensors though so it can't compete with the quality of real DSLRs -- as I've said before, it's not just the MP that matters.
