> K800i Not Worth Of "Cybershot" Status
Bookmark topic
I would say as there are what seems to be some pro or pro amatuer photogrophers on here saying the K800I is brilliant then I'll go with what they say as they will know more then me and many others. The K800I thoroughly deserves it's Cybershot branding and like I said the Cybershot department helped to develop it.

Whilst the pics taken with the k800i are ok,i really dont think they're up there with a dedicated digital camera.
No pics comparing the two? I've heard the K800 is better indoors due to a better flash, but the D900 is better outdoors (source vid on mobile arena).

The thread shouldnt be about comparing phone cameras, but seeing if the K800 is worthy of its name.
Since the 'cybershot' department help develop the technology, then it should be awarded its name. The pics dont look brill on the K800 screen but get them on your comp/ laptop/ tele etc and they look awsome.
Also its all about the right camera settings also. Dont forget also its only 3mp, get it too 5mp then start talking about it being a bad camera.

well... stickin to the topic... K800 is WORTH the Cybershot Status and insignia or whatever! of course its not comparable to those 4,5,6,7,8mp Cybershots, but darn it! this is a 3MP Cybershot phone... if this product leaps to a 5mp camphone, youll eat yer words! the whole thing brotha! from front to yer rear!

in fairness to the K800, i think it deserves the 'cybershot' status, since it's main selling point is the 'camera', and i think the K800's camera is above standards in today's world. of course, we keep on thinking that it should have 'premium' features like bigger MP or optical zoom, but then again, it still captures quality pics given its restrictions on such features.
i think people are quite confused about the branding. in the 'walkman' branding, many people do not complain simply because music players doesn't have much features like cameras have...
