That's right, although it does mention it on the page:
"Phone models should not include the i at the end e.g. it should be K800 not K800i"

Thanks guys, but there is T68i in the plist, in my previous attempt I tried with tex edit; but this time with Property List Editor. I'm one step further; it worked once in a test, but not anymore.
Calling works sometime. Is it normal that the P990 doesn't show a thing while dialing? I can't stop the call on the P990 because there is no visual feedback that a call is in progress...
the part where the p990 is mentioned now looks like this:
----
<dict>
<key>ABAnswerPhone</key>
<string>at+ckpd="s"</string>
<key>ABAnswerWaiting</key>
<string>at+chld=2</string>
<key>ABDeclineWaiting</key>
<string>at+chld=0</string>
<key>ABDeviceModelStrings</key>
<array>
<string>P990</string>
<string>T610</string>
<string>T630</string>
<string>Z600</string>
</array>
<key>ABDial</key>
<string>ATD%@;</string>
<key>ABEnableCallWaiting</key>
<string>at+ccwa=1</string>
<key>ABEnableCallerID</key>
<string>at*eips=1,1</string>
<key>ABEnableCallerName</key>
<string>at*eips=2,1</string>
<key>ABEnableSMSReceive</key>
<string>at+CNMI=2,1</string>
<key>ABHangUpPhone</key>
<string>at+ckpd="e"</string>
<key>ABReleaseAndAnswer</key>
<string>at+chld=1</string>
<key>ABRequestClip</key>
<string>at+clip=1</string>
<key>ABSendSMS</key>
<string>AT+CMGS=%dBWACKRBWACKN</string>
</dict>
----
could this be firmware issue? I'm running R4B and can't update for the moment (probably because of the CDA /55 ?)
Thanks for any help!

Can someone help me out with the WiFi.. it used to not work at all, now when i connect, it loads for a few seconds, then gives me the cannot locate remote server '...' etc....
This is what i did.. i added a new Internet account, gave it SSID, Authentication is OPEN. The Ip-Address, Gateway, Subnetmask and the DNS Address i got from the Terminal.app. Now it loads for a few sconds, but still wont work. anyone?;/
My WiFi is the normal Airport of the MacBook. I turn it on by System Preferences --> Sharing --> Share Bluetooth Connection to AirPort.. Thats it!

Do you have anything plugged into your LAN socket? If so take it out and try again. The reason i say is that with a few wifi things there is a bug somewhere which cuase an ip conflict. I tmight not work but it did for me with something else that used wifi

Refai, try turning off your firewall on your mac if it's running, also try manually entering DNS settings in your P990

i've tried that too, still wont work. In the help file of the airport it says that the AirPort express is WPA-WPA2 and has a 802.11x protocol. When i set that information on the P990, it asks for Inner Authentication. Whats that!?

for the meantime (until Apple updates iSync) I have modified a perl script I found on the net.
This gives you the possibility to transfer all your iCal events to the p990i (exept Birthdays - but this can be changed).
Feel free to use it - at your own risk....
If you don't have any appointments in your p990 then there's no risk - you can always delete all the transfered information.
hope it helps somebody.
The script (with a short info file) is at:

thanks for the script, I'll test it an report back.
@refai; I had some initial problems with my Airport base station;
make sure it is in "mixed mode" of "802.11b" , if you have MAC authentication turned on, make sure the P990i's MAC in in the list of trusted devices.
I also configured WPA2 personal on my base station, on the P990i you have to choose WPA-PSK and AES as encoding to match the airport. IS everything on the P990i configured corectly? do you have an internet account for your aiport and is it available in the froup account?
