Right, all together now "All i want for xmas....."
Miserable isn't it? I just got back from sorting the thing out for a second time after this bollox began and i'm not holding my breath. I can pretty sure expect it to occur once again yet only hope its not when i'm in a position where i'm unable to fix it.
Feckers at Voda insist on collecting the handset when they drop off a (refurbished) P990 tomorrow and since they won't allow me to load up and restore the data before i decide which handset to keep, i told them not to bother. They won't even send out a jiffy bag - business customer eh?
Interstingly, you can really see the shortcomings of the backup/resotre manager. I got the backup failure message meaning unless i deleted existing backups, i couldn't get a full backup. Hmph...
Thanks for the info on the upcoming update. I guess all the bods at SE have decided to take that early vacation eh?
