> Why so few UIQ3 apps for P990

ive used the p900 and moto a1000 and am now on the p990 -ive also used WM and have recently bought a WM5 smartphone -the experience ive learnt is with UIQ devices no matter which model u get u are always well below the WM devices when it comes to software range -as i experienced when i switched from a WM2002 to the p900 .Despite limitation in the software range for the uiq ,the p990 is no slouch as after 4 month of patience and sometimes frustration the true nature of the p990 is coming out and yep its quite a great device

I can also say that if anything on my P990 is literally perfect in performance it is, with the new fw, video player. I am astonished every time I run it. My video files are mainly M3 encoded DVD movies. As dragon said I don't talk here about quality which is brilliant but only about performance. 350 mb movie starts in a two seconds, forward or backward in time mostly second, sometimes two (no kidding), pause/start goes smoothly as the volume adjustment. With the previous fw it was not so but now it is another story.
