This is the main reason UIQ3 apps are so slow to come around. I agree with you, it is very backwards.
For the person (forgot the nick, sorry) who claimed that their TyTN was more stable than the M600 and they had to frequently remove the battery I have a few suggestions for you:
1. Check firmware update (new firmware was released recently)
2. Take your M600 in for service. Sounds like a fault. I don't know, maybe I'm lucky as in my experience the M600 was
more stable than the TyTN.
