Nokia, Samsung and Moto are all revealing new devices - MobileTV has made its appearance (dvb-h standard).
I was looking forward to

showing something different off instead of the run-o-the-mill music and imaging.
Whats the matter with them?

I am also disappointed with

.... they r becoming more like Nokia of the last 2 years ....there is nothing to wow about...whereas the others are bringing about some nice innovations

Well apart from the ones you listed boba?
At the risk of raking over old coals - drop-dead quality video recording and playback.
MobileTV I'm not too worried about because there doesn't seem to be any providers out there at the moment AFAIK.
What happened to the DLNA - being able to share video files between handsets or use your handset to watch files on your PC from any location.
GPS - overdue.
Barcode reader.
Mobile wallet.
Fingerprint recognition.

Not only the WOW related to technology...as far as I see other manufacturers coming out with better smartphones / extensive connectivity (GPRS/EDGE/3G/Wi-Fi in a single device) / Optical Zoom in cameras / Good quality video recording / GPS / Widescreen phones with touchscreen ...the disappointing thing to note is

seemed to be interested in increasing their market share in low - mid end segments..whereas a real WOW gadget which they were famous for are lacking nowadays

Well, the best news for SE so far at 3GSM, come from...Motorola
The fact there is another big company that will launch alot of UIQ phones is really great for UIQ has a platform, and also to SE

Sad but true.

seems to be the only one 'zigging' when all the rest are 'zagging' as someone else put it. They seemed to have traded places. While other makers are striving for ever more advanced devices

has gone the other way.
However, having said that, with

only being the largest of the smaller players in the industry, being a small company puts them at risk if there is any consolidation in the industry (rumours were circulating about this last year), so going for growth at the moment might be very important to them and if the high-end suffers then that might be the price we / they have to pay.
There are announcements rumoured to take place in March so we'll see what happens then.
