My girlfriends' k750i fell in the watter too. In the watter bowl for the dog, lol. Anyway I got it out emidietly and removed the battery. It was moist for a couple of hours, then when I came home I took it apart. I dried every single bit of the phone with paper towel. Left the pieces to dry for a day and put it back together. It was working perfectly (and still is, it's been 7 months now).

The display seemed to be damaged at first, but the blury spot went away in a week or so.

Thanks everyone for all your ideas and tips, but it's coming up to a year now i've had my W850i, i love it.

The crack on the D pad happened within a few months of having my W850i it was disappointing but i can live with it. It's just a shame it is vodaphone, i hate them and will make sure in the future i will not buy another vodaphone handset.

I have also decided i probably won't change my phone make, I LOVE SONY ERICSSONS!!!
