Actually Michal Jerz from my Symbian never claimed P990 a bad or rubish phone .... just the oposite. Its own P990 works without problems so why should he.

Here is what Michal actually said about its own P990.

You lucky lucky man. I want an N95 but will wait until later software comes out as with every Nokia or SE top of the range phone you get problems. Bet that screen is beautiful. Thats the next phone i want to buy but as im on pre pay and can no longer get a contract as i made myself bankrupt i cant get one. Have to save up and go sim free. Good luck and have fun with your new toy. Whats the photos and video like.

Im sure the n95 will follow in the long tradition of nokia being buggy and poorly built.

Ok what are you basing this on? I have a P990i and it's a great phone, but the N95 I've seen is also beautifully built. Let's not try to be too subjective. The P990i is a good phone, but the new phones coming out are better in spec than the P990i. I saw both the E61i and E90 and both were really nicely built devices. When the P910i came out it was way ahead of its time and was the best smartphone out, but you have to hand it to Nokia that they have worked to catch up. The specs on the N95 are really impressive.

@Dogmann
You seem adamant that SE sells bad/unfinished products to the extent that you make it seem as though it's in SE's culture. But UIQ3 phones aside, do you really have a case? Just curious

@mode,

Look here on this Forum for my K800 just died, won't charge, won't turn on, Various phones with WSOD, hissing problems on Walkman phones and all the other problems mentioned by posters.

I am not saying no other manufacturer has problems and releases only perfect phones either and they should also be taken to task over their actions. I really do not understand why when ever this is mentioned the only response is this and that also has problems as if that then makes it OK. I also am not asking or telling anyone not to buy SE prouducts or that should or have to buy any other manfactuers prouducts either.

@GUCCI.011

Quite simply NO, where have i ever suggested that every device is bad? but i have stated and stand by the fact that an awful lot of devices are being released with far too many problems and some are takeing far to long to have these issues resolved. I am also not saying that SE is the only company that does this either am I. I also accept and say that as devices push the boundaries some if not all are released with bugs but as long as these problems are addressed quickly and with change logs i accept this is the price to be paid for being an early adaptor. It is how the companies deal with the bugs and their customers in giving them what they paid is the issue IMO.
