@shaliron:

And in multiple reviews, the N95 has been said to have a worse camera than the K800

Which reviews are you talking about? Can you quote some. But I read this one from the SE-loving guy at M-R who has this to say about N95 camera:-

That’s why if you compare it with Sony Ericsson K800i, Nokia N95’s camera will fare better, even though there is no way to avoid some minor ....

As of today, the camera built in Nokia N95 is the mass market’s best proposal (leaving out all exotic devices)...

Even IF K800i camera is better, it would be by a small margin. Anyway, K800 should not be used to compared to N95. One is 3Mp an the other 5Mp. So let's wait for Sofia to compare to N95. N95 is not just about camera but have a whole lots of functions which K800 dont have. And not to forget the price of N95 is about double that of k800.

the reason you get comparisons of the k800 and n95 is because both are each companys top of the range camera phones.

MP is only one of the parameters of a good camera. Quality of megapixels (sensor's overall quality) and lens (quality and specifications) are more important parameters imho.

ah, you saying the lens has nothing to do with the final outcome of images QVGA?

carl zeiss would have looked after majority of the camera.....

i am just saying whether CZ actually came and advise nokia? or did nokia just bought the lens?

When the 1st Nokia with CZ lenses arrived I read a review on Mobile Burn or MobileReview stating that the CZ lenses were only a marketing scheme in which CZ received money to endorse the launched products WITHOUT interfering in the actual NOKIA product. Can't you see it's a gimmick, a trick to help the sales?! How can you actually consider that CZ actuallydeveloped the 'photo' part of these Nokia phones?!

@QGVA,

Sorry are you saying that Nokia constantly under perform in Music abilities because if so that is utter BS.

I don't know which phones you have been listening to or what with but my N93 Music Player is every bit as good as a Walkman phone. I can adjust the preset Equaliser settings and even create my own. Listening to Music at just 40% -50% is more than loud enough for my needs. Unlike when i recently tested a W950 and W880 and confirmed by many users of those phones also.

As for the more is better Mega Pixel race in phones IMO this is just pointless a Camera in a phone is there for convenience and as long as they take a reasonable picture that's it. No one that is serious about Photography is going to replace a dedicated Camera with one in their phone.

Well that's my view on it anyway, I just wish we could get away from this childish my brand is always best yours sucks mentality and just judge each device purely on their merits or deficiencies pure and simple and also start comparing like for like the K800 is a camera phone first and foremost it main function besides being a phone is it's Camera abilities hence it's Cybershot moniker the N95 on the other hand is a multimedia smart phone power house that is also a GPS device and takes pictures.

really great response . I think if SE has brain to follow your great response to any competition it faced, it will be No. 1 in no time

Hah! Nope, still not convinced. Let's see if the "dynamic duo" can actually turn the legions of "stupid" SE fans with your biased "nokia is the greatest" ideology masked by "intellectual" arguments. Hope you succeed to the point SE goes bankrupt lol

@mode

Sorry but if you are going to make such a bold statement would you like to support it and name just one SE phone with 3.2 Mega Pixel camera and 3x Optical Zoom, just one SE phone that records Video @640x480 30fps in VGA, just one phone that has a 330mhz processor a full 2D/3D graphics chip as opposed to the light version, just one Walkman phone where people are happy with the sound quality and volume I think that may do for now.

Now don't get me wrong i am not suggesting every one should run out and get a N93 as it is not a device for every one but to suggest SE has anything that even come close to it is nothing more than a joke my deluded friend.
Even SE supporters that now have a N95 have stated that the Music Player in the top of the range N Series is every bit as good as Walkman phones plus i have the ability to change graphic equaliser settings and even create my own unlike the flagship W950 Walkman phone that still suffers from low volume ,so remove your bias against anything that is not SE and get real.

@ Mode,

Yeah your right Mode how silly of me i must sell my N93 immediately and run out and get the SE Flagship P990 as after 9 months of firmwares that's just such a brilliant phone now isn't it. No problems left and every user is just so happy or maybe get a W950 as that has excellent volume levels and no problems so what if a smart phone doesn't ship with the apps it was announced with because we all know SE always does the right thing for their customers. LMFAO.

Really Mode if you are going to slate a product just because it's not SE you really need to base it on facts not bias and no one has said you have to buy any other phone than SE but don't make claims that you just can't support with facts as it makes you look ever so silly.
