and in my opinion

phones are more popular and probably outsell standalone

devices, so i couldn't see that stopping them putting GPS into a phone and besides if they don't that would be suicide as other maufacturers continue to produce phones with built in GPS!

I connect mine to my PC and use it with MS Autoroute 2006 as a moving map

I think SE missed a huge chance to be very clever, they could have produced a GPS module that directly replaced the flip keypad, same size & shape or maybe smaller to give full screen viewing even when closed, this could have been offered as an extra with a firmware upgrade, i'm sure it could b done & it wouldnt have caused a physical design change to the phones casing...... just a thought.
