Not if you buy from RegTransfers. Their name stays as the buyer on the registration certificate, your the nominee on the certificate so you only have a year to put it on a car or else they can take the registration back.

Try the DVLA's website instead they are a lot cheaper and I think when you buy a Reg it is yours until you sell it to someone else!
