Not being funny mate but I can't make out anything on those photo's and I could only imagine the plastic being the same colour as the bare plastic in my pic, once the metal finish has worn away!

Ok i concede that there may well be a light metallic spray on the out side of the casing but I was in no doubt what so ever that the case is MADE of plastic. I went over all the bits with tuning fork after i initially recieved it. So I make my judgements on my own testing. Alot of people that I know with p990's have their casings so scrathed up that there probably isn't any sprayed on metal on either.

i say before u even use the handset is to put some paint protection film on the vulnerable areas as i have done and mines still mint!!
