Do you work at the O2 shop?
Am popping down there a bit later, just to have a look and see the phone in the flesh, even if they only have the white one.

Yes I do, and we don't do it in grey.

The grey model is on the O2 web site, but only on contract, not on PAYG

I know, have already looked at that.
I was thinking about getting the sim only contract, as you get quite a good allowance with that, but it would mean having to buy the new phone outright.

I didn't say I was going to do that, as it would cost me more.

I just meant you need to work out the cheapest way to get the phone and the minutes/text's you wanted, whether it's contract or PAYG, or a combination of both, that's all...

you get 30% discount off the sim free prices when you buy a sim only contract, and most sim free prices are the same as P&G now, so based on that premise (although don't hold me to it...) the W580i would be £105.02 on a £15/month upwards sim only contract. Not half bad if you were going to buy it outright anyway. And it's a 30 day contract so you can cancel with written notice after 30 days.

Went into the O2 shop on Saturday and talked to the lady about getting a sim only contract, she did mention about me using it in my current phone or buying the W580i outright, but no mention of a discount.
