Ofcourse it rules, plank. That's why I ordered i-mobile 902. I'll probably go and pick it up tomorrow, cause today I got the letter that it arrived 4 days ago. Can't wait to get my hands on it!:) Only bad thing is that I'll have to pay around 80 dollars more because of the taxes in my country, I found out about it today in the letter.

CMOS sensors are much less expensive to manufacture than CCD sensors.
Both CCD (charge-coupled device) and CMOS (complimentary metal-oxide semiconductor) image sensors start at the same point -- they have to convert light into electrons.
more CCD

I know, that's why I didn't want to buy it at first, but then after seeing hundreds of photos like that on
www.hardwarezone.com, I said to myself you're definitely buying this phone!

It's not the TYPE of sensor that dictates the quality in digital camera pics, its the SIZE.
Camphones sensors are tiny, so ashamed are manufacturers of this that NONE has ever quoted what size they are.

Now just to compare CCD with CMOS at night:
NOKIA N80 3 MP (CMOS)
Sony Ericsson K800i 3.2 MP (CMOS)
i-mobile 902 5.04 MP (CCD)
p.s. I'm not dissing K800i I'm just showing the difference!
Plank:
You can find it at e-bay for 245-260 US Dollars + around 30-50 for shipping! Really cheap and you get 1GB memory card, Sony Headphones, and some offers give one extra battery. I found one like that with the free battery and 1 GB micro SD and Sony headphones.
