the build of the w760i is NOT anything like the w580!! the keypad is much better build and not flimsy at all! it feels solid and is a pleasure to text on...i did buy some better headphones as the ones supplied with the w760i are'nt what you expect to get with a walkman phone (shame on you SE!) .........and as for the comment of it being like a baby's toy....sounds like a case of sour grapes to me
oh and another thing i get a 3g signal on my w760i no problem

Do you really think that changing housing of mobile phones is a bad idea? I've never done it before but always considered it as an option.

I used the W760i a few times and the plastic is very cheap quality. Compared to my K810i the phone feels like a toy to me. The plastic around the D-pad was horrible to touch, and the paint was already peeling off in places.
I've never held an
phone that felt as bad as that.
The keypad is fine, but the outer housing is very cheap.

I got mine from ebay too, W910 genuine full housing, did cost me around 45euro ++, can get cheap copy for around 13 euro..
How ever After 3 month of use with the new housing. The front looks terrible.. quality problem???
W890 and W760. I would go to W760 only drawback is W760 missing videocall cam.
