Oh, they very much are a major player in the UK, and have the best data tariffs and most reliable mobile broadband in the country.
But yea, I have no Idea how T-mob uk got the exclusive black version before anyone else. Uploading more pictures, will add to OP in a few minutes.

I just switched it on, and set the time / date, syncronised my Email account and played about a little bit, and I was just flabbergasted at how good the phone and the touch screen are to use!
I made a few typo errors when inputting my Email address because my fingers were slipping, but I dont think that will be a problem once I get used to the phone.
Its probably just because this is my first touch screen handset, but I deffinately really really like this phone.

Metal, just like the T700
. The whole phone is made of metal, just with a shiny smooth plastic strip around the edges of the front of the phone.
