K600 and K608 were made in japan as well. upon disassembling them few months back i saw its more secured circuitry and the joystick is fully protected against the dust that's why (it was the first phone with a joystick sealed by rubber, way before the K800/K510 and later) that's why it has never malfunctioned unlike my W800.

I think it's simple, phones made in japan like S700, W900 and K600/K608 were made of or has high quality materials/ high quality contruction, while SE phones made in either china or sweden are of near-to-crap build quality. the case is not the same with the early SEs where the build quality is much better than now.

phones made in sweden were pretty good quality.
and the Pxxx series was very good (amazing when you know it was made in france).
the main reason i started this thread was to help me decided what SE to buy. problem is, not one phone comes remotly close.
i don't care much about design, which is good because of new SE's are ugly. (w350 was sweet). They are quite expencive for what you get, and some nice things are missing.
i hope they introduce something nice this month. And hopefully some stuff thats build outside of China.

Those people asking where their phone is made, have a bit of common sense eh? Look under the battery and you'll see "Made in xxxxx". For example, my C902 is made in China.
