Even if 90% what he his saying is dumb, and it is, the remaining 10% are enough to make SE fans to worry even more. I sincerely have very little hope on the itīs future.

Nobody knows,a single model can reboost a brand like SE,I think W995 will be the ''one'' to save SE and then Idou will continue...
SE losed alot because of 2 consecutive buggy phones: the K850 with its infamous BROD and the C905 which has speaker problem(not the newest one though)
SE was obliged to replace thousands of K850 in the beggining because of BROD,and this is a big cost for them

It WAS NOT just 2 phones, remember the P990? W950? M600? Any ring a bell?
That said, i still love my K850, the C905 is realy growing on me, always loved X1s design, and liked C903 and W995 from the beginning, they still have a chance cause they still make the best looking phones, and the average joe out there will always fall for Cyber-shot and Walkman since both these names have such a good history. Think of my friends, when they saw my mates N82 they just thought "OH another expensive Nseries" when they saw my K850 they kept asking "is that a camera?" "dude that phone is hot" "WOAH its a 5mp Cyber-shot!", SE still has those numpties if they could just improve quality control release the W995 and Idou they'll be back in business. as much as i love my Nokia, i still checkout them s a lot.

@GUCCI.011
That's just like me, only backwards... As much as I love my SEs, I still check them Nokias out (even though I hate them!)

Much better is not to pay so much attention on Eldar Murtazin's words.
Already 3 years I'm reading his reviews in original (Russian language).

Very capable person, the site mobile-review.com he created has one of the deepest reviews in the net.
Also their forum is good and useful.

But: he is a psycotic person IMO.
I've red many sites reviewing mobiles, which seem as the writers relations' are friendly and equal.
This is not the case with m-r.com. Mr. Murtazin is the dictator there. Other writers just work for him and do not have their own opinion.

Last year Murtazin launched LG sponsored campaign, last 2 years the trend against SE is more than visible.

Really irritating thing is that bad phones from Nokia are covered with superlatives, while bad from SE are destroyed.

And last: IMO would be better if all we SE fans are worried how to show SE that they do not work well, than to comment one mad, unstable man.

Eldar? I know I've gone insane for sticking with a company whose focus is no longer being the leading best but to sell as much as they can. If they focus on the previous the latter will come naturally and the corporate 'geniuses' there still don't see it. They will always have reservations on their phones like releasing an imaging beast like C905 and not have proper video record capabilities to support that title and at the end gets kicked in the arse everytime a shootout takes place. People read these mobile reviews, don't they realize that? SE will get what they deserve.

The only advantage of the reviews made by Eldar is that they are long and detailed with full of pics,now conclusions made by him are purely subjective!
What's really funny with his reviews is that ALL the phones have the same comment for their display: ''In fact, as far as color reproduction goes, this is one of the market's finest units.''

True, it's just that SE is being stupid these days. they are just having very poor communication with customers. and they should've fired all the personnels on their quality control department because they are a big waste in the company

Hot news just in - I wanted to start a new tread, but I see, senior forum users frequent this tread, therefore I might just as well post in here. We are in the middle of 2nd quarter 2009. SE is not looking well at all - financially ! If they don't change drastically their sales volume/pattern in the next 6 weeks, a loss is looming. It won't be bigger then the 1quarter's though. Nevertheless a loss once again. However, this time around, Sony themself, are in no position to help anymore. Therefore, herewith I slightly change my forecast dates: if SE do not manage to 'turn the ship around' SOON, they will be history by the middle of next year. My previous forecast was 'middle of second half of 2010'. Go on, you are welcomed to bash me for bringing this sad news to you, however, look at my 1q SE's financial forecast on this very same forum and see how 'close to the truth' it was.
Friendly greetings from South Africa.

Sorry to digress.

@mario
Do you also know that Ericsson has promised SE 500 million euro to help SE? Sony hasn't come out with a similar offer (as far as I know) but I don't think they would fold their arms while the other partner is willing to help.
