Sony Ericsson have never quite grasped the clamshell design.

all of you are obviously not the target market, so it's no surprise that 99% of you don't like it.

Are any of you a young, fashion-crazed female? Probably not. You're probably all males late teens to mid-30s in age with more focus on the millimeter difference between one phone's thickness vs. another than what pair of jeans and shoes you're wearing that day.

YOU are not the target market, so obviously, your not liking it is a given. Most fashion-crazed women would not be knowledgable about the latest specs and innovations of mobile phones, nor will they care. They want it to look good and possibly take pictures of themselves. Second, phone thickness must be a European pet peeve because Japanese phones are thick and big and they sell like crazy. In fact, my girlfriend wish she could use a Japanese mobile phone because of its size and yet, very fashionable and stylish looks.

To all of you bashing this phone, unless you're a fashion crazed young female, maybe keep your SE bashing to yourself.

@domipost: when i saw the w300 for the first time i thought it would have decent specs. then i realized it didn't. the same happened now. i thought jalou would have a realistic design, more specs and it would be a flagship. i know you're being sarcastic.

But I can't understand why SE is putting names of the low-end phones. There it T-series.

T is not low end, think of 650 & 700. stopped with numbers, why? They all had concept names and now the phone sticks to it .

Its vomit-inducing. Apart from the dated specs, there's nothing on this phone to entice ppl who've never owned an before. Epic Fail!!

Real men love pink!

Ok I didn't read the comments, but imo, the phone is all right. At least it's specs aren't bad or anything like that. As for the naming, isn't Jalou just a codename?
