Don't think I'm gonna keep my Satio. I'm probably gonna swap it for a white Aino. It's just so much easier to do simple things on A200. I miss the convenient shortcut menu and keypad shortcuts etc. S60 is just too much effort.

but only good thing is Satio has good camera.. but S60....

@goldenface, I think you've hit the nail on the head. I've been wondering why I haven't jumped at the Satio and was thinking it was just my apathy for SE lately, but I did drop my Nokia 5800 to return to the W890 as my second phone and very possibly your post describes why. The only thing I miss from the W890 ('coz I love its size) is wifi, and probably for that reason, although Aino is quite a bit thicker than w890, I'll probably end up with that now too

@ masseur - do you not find sometimes however you need to do something which on a normal phone isnt possible ? it can be something really simple such as being able to play a video file the phone you have by default does not support, or edit a files attributes such as a mp3's ? Thats the freedom a smartphone interface grants, whereas you can often be stuck till you get back to a pc with a none-smartphone.

My current annoyance with my Satio is the software bugs - mainly to do with the actual calling part of the phone when the earpiece mutes when trying to browse the menus when using loudspeaker.

It was sluggish for the first few hours but then I realised I did put a hell of music and photos from my C905 onto it.

Since then it's been fine.

A few things I would love on the next firmware would be.

*Change Home buttons at the bottom (o2 UK have decided I wanted Yahoo search)
*Changing an punctuation after a word seems to want to change the word as well.
*Facebook & Youtube app (again may have been removed by operator)
*A way of scrolling contacts without using the bar.

I'm going to keep it because as with all new phones I believe that developers will come on board with new apps and games.

I dont have to use the bar though, i just flick up or down..

I only find the phone sluggish as any other S60 phone is compared to a none smartphone.

Today, I have proudly updated my avatar due to the purchase of a Satio yesterday. So far, I'm still in the phase of finding my ways around in the menus, they are not as logical as on previous SE phones I have had, and getting used to S60.
I can agree upon the poor battery capacity, but I believe it will improve after a burn-in period, and after the first intensive weeks of usage.
I had the address book problem, i.e. only one contact was transferred from my old phone. By first synching my old phone with Outlook using the PC Suite, and then synching the Satio solved the problem, though.

I have come upon a few annoyances:

There seems to be a bug in the address book: When I try to add a picture to a contact, and start scrolling in the long list of pictures, I always end up with the call dial display. Luckily, if I select the picture in the file manager instead, and select "use in address book", I can assign a picture to a contact.
Folder names are displayed with different names in the phone compared to their physical names on the memory card. This is very confusing.
The phone generally ignores that files are sorted into subfolders to make them easier to find. Instead, all files seem to be listed in a very long list when selecting a ring signal or a background image or contact image.
I can't find a way to connect to a Wi-Fi that requires username and password to log on. There are no input fields available anywhere.
The FM radio does not seem to have RDS functionality
I can't find T9 or a T9 equivalence in the alphanumeric input mode.
I find is no way to add multiple files to a playlist, or to manually order the play order. I transferred a talking book that originally consisted of 19 CDs. Each file had a track number ID3 tag that was restarted for each CD. This resulted in the playlist order CD1_track1, CD2_track1, CD3_track1 ... , CD19_track1, CD1_track2, CD2_track2, ... etc, and that is usually not the order you want to hear the tracks. I had to renumber the ID3 track numbers with Tag&Rename.


Hopefully, some of the above problems are due to my ignorance, and perhaps someone can enlighten me on those issues.

So far, I have got no hangs or reboots of the phone, but the PC suite really sucks, and I had to restart the program several times while trasnferring audio and image files until I gave up and inserted the SD card directly in the card reader slot in my computer. Does anyone know the reason for changing from M2 micro to SD micro?
