Hi everyone!

I prefer to use a mouse rather than the touch pad...

What mouse do people recommend? I did see an expensive wireless mouse, for £56

@ adnansanni, the Mac in the last photo isn't that bad. I have one of those too It's just plastic instead of alluminium.
@ p900 lover, i think onyx can't do a check up on your hard drive for some reason. Uninstall it and install it again... try then...

@ ofiach, did you try out the trackpad in the store? I will never ever connect a mouse on any of my Macs
The best trackpad ever! Not like the other trackpad where your fingers feel uncomfortable... I had a very bad experience with an HP laptop. The trackpad was made from the same material as the body of the laptop and my fingers got stuck as I was moving them...
Once you try out this trackpad, you'll love it for sure. As for the Magic Mouse, it's just one big portable trackpad
You can move it and you can click anywhere ABOVE the apple logo on it. Did you see the video? You can use the same gestures you use on the trackpad

I agree. Wireless with a capacitive glass surface giving kinetic scrolling through long web pages or documents. Makes it very annoying to have to switch to a ThinkPad with Windows XP for work

@Domecot: Yes buddy that isn’t bad. But I think this is going to be first mac for ofiaich. So aluminum one will be good for him. You know aluminum gives extra-ordinary feel, where plastic can’t give.

@ofiaich: Touch-pad on MacBookPro is totally different thing than other’s laptop. I can’t explain it; you have to try yourself then you’ll find out.

I also prefer a mouse rather than the touch pad. I have two mouses from apple. One is Mighty mouse (wired) and another is Magic mouse (wireless). Mighty mouse is good but some people found after use of months, the scroll-ball become dirty and gives troubles, so you have to clean it regularly. Magic mouse is totally a piece of art. You can put that to your showcase. And its functionality is also great. Magic mouse has one disadvantage; if you have big hand then you’ll find uncomfortable after use a while because its too small on height.

I’ve also iWork. its simply great.

Here are some pics for you. hope you’ll find these helpful.

Hi adnansanni

thanks.. great photo's !!

I will make a decision soon! Busy with my plans for Japan on Wednesday!

This will be my first Mac!

I do need a small Windows program called JWP to run... hmmm, it is simple and runs from an executable in a directory!

new question !!

will the usb drive that I use with Windows work with a Mac?

@ofiaich:
Yes that will work. If that usb drive formatted to NTFS file system then you will only able to read from that usb drive on mac but if that formatted to Fat32 file system then you can read write both on mac.

@p900_lover:
Is your drive’s file system “Mac OS Extended (journaled)? Check that with disk utility first .

I think I would just reformat it using the Mac...
