MMS AT LAST....

Finally sorted. Data support got there in the end. I finally spoke to someone that knew what he was talking about and he made the required changes at his end whilst I was on the phone. He even phoned me back to check after I had sent a message.

Only taken a month.

I'm getting really really annoyed with some of the idiots that work for O2....

The latest reason I've been given about why I can't have MMS and data GPRS is because I have a online package. This 'online' apparently means that's it's a different company (O2 online???)... clearly says 'O2 Limited' at the bottom of there website.... I smell bull shit!

Will try to get hold of data services tomorrow (don't work on sunday)...
Can anyone tell me if other operators can provide both? Or any other advice on dealing with O2 ?

TIA

I'm on O2 pay and go, i just testedan mms to myself via gprs and it worked fine. I had no idea it was free right now. How long is it free and when it finishes, do i get charged or the recipient? This message was posted from a T300

@ Exodus: Have you actually contacted your provider and asked them to enable GPRS/MMS on your account? If after 24 hours it still isn't working contact them again and ask them what the hold up is.

Regards,

Phil.

In the end I just rang them up and didn't say anything about GPRS, just that I wanted the MMS enabling. The girl on the line said it'll be done in 24hrs, she didn't say anything about GPRS...

But of course.... 24hrs did it work ?? did it F%#$. Still 'User Barred' error

I refuse to phone them again at 50p per min... so I emailed them... got an automated email back stating it would be 3 day for a reply! Three days must be a joke.... or maybe not I'm still waiting for the reply!

f**kers....
