Till now I thought I have seen everything... but I guess not!
How many times the UK operators have
withdrawn NOKIA phones from the market, due to serious software problems? More than half of their phones had troubles... I do remember stories with Nokias buggy phones starting from the 7110...
How many times have you heard a UK operator withdrawing an Ericsson phone???

SE and Nokia (and others) are all about the same technologically. Nokia might not have BT in their higher-end phones, but that may be due to marketing reasons. Like Siemens has S55 with BT for Europe, and S57 without BT for Asia.
But how about usability? I just got the T300 recently and wanted to set up speed dials. I press a number and the dial key, and the phone just resopnds, "No number in this position". This might be obvious to a long-time Ericsson user, but I couldn't figure it out until I read the fantastic manual. Nokias phones will just respond that there's no number in this position, and prompts you to input a number or select a number from the phonebook. Siemens phones will prompt you to inptu/select a number for speed dial, or a function for quick access.
The phonebook also has other annoyances, e.g.
- the phonebook has both view and edit functions. Why not merge them into one menu item? The view menu also has an edit function, but it's not the same as selecting edit from the main phonebook menu.
- ability to save multiple numbers for one name is nice, but why limit it to home, work, mobile, and e-mail? Nokia allows any number of entries.
- I could go on and on, but I'll stop here.
Of course, there are some really nice features, like the picture calling ID. But when there's no picture assigned, it has a slow scrolling display for the name and number! Why not just show the name and number on two lines instead of the stupid incoming call icon? Why show the number at all? When a picture is assigned, it indeed doesn't show the number, so now I just assign a generic picture for ALL my contacts.
Sorry for ranting. I really like my T300, but the little problems drive me up the wall...

The screen on the T610 is by far better than 7250.
Only thing that is disapointing in the T610 is the 2mb...
the 7250 feels like a plasticphone compared to the T610.

Feature-for-feature, tech-for-tech, there is no comparing the 7250 and the T610.
Areas where the T610 exceeds:
1. Bluetooth
2. 32-chord polyphony
3. Bigger, higher-resolution screen
4. 65,000-color screen
5. better camera quality
6. MoPhun gaming engine (love this thing)
