Therefore playing a 64kbit MP3pro is like playing a 64kbit MP3 - no difference.
I just compared a 64kbit MP3 file to a 64kbit MP3Pro file and i just cannot listen to the MP3 one, it is awful. The MP3Pro file is much much better.

I assume you did the listening test on the P800?
Either way, i can't argue with you since its a subjective test.

I think you are right though(even though you can play MP3Pro files, it is not fully supported on the standard audio player). I just listened to the MP3Pro version on winamp using the standard plug-in and it isn't as good as playing it on the MP3Pro Player. It doe's sound much better than the normal MP3 version but playing the MP3Pro file on the MP3Pro Player sounds much better again.
I did listen to them on my P800 aswell.
PS Doing a search on google confirmed this about MP3Pro and MP3 Players.

@jucame, where are your mp3s stored if not on your PC? If you meant that you're a Mac user and want to get your mp3s onto your P800... try sending them via Bluetooth or IR.
@sanchezxxx, I dumped the first hour and 10 min of the movie Apollo 13 on my Duo. The P800 has no problems playing long videos... BUT it does have problems if you're mid way through a long movie and try to fast forward, rewind or pause... it may or may not resume properly.
15-30 min TV shows aren't a problem at all...specially the 15 min ones. The only problem I have is that it takes forever to transfer 128MB to the P800... even over Bluetooth (which is faster than the USB cradle)
