IBM introduced the Video Graphics Array (VGA) display system in 1987. This became the standard for computers, meaning they could display a 640x480 resolution in 16 colours, or 320x200 in 256 colours.
The Video Electronics Standards Association (VESA) developed standardised video protocols that were backward compatible with VGA, but offered higher resolutions and greater colours. VESA's VGA BIOS extensions were collectively known as Super VGA (SVGA).
IBM then introduced the Extended Graphics Array (XGA) in 1990, allowing even higher resolutions to be displayed, such as 1024x768 in 65,536 colours.
New specifications have arisen, such as Super Extended Graphics Array (SXGA) and Ultra Extended Graphics Array (UXGA).
Basically, to make everything easy, the highest resolution displayed by these specifications gives rise to the current labelling of resolutions today:
VGA: 640 x 480
SVGA: 800 x 600
XGA: 1024 x 768
SXGA: 1280 x 1024
UXGA: 1600 x 1200

so guys, if the picture quality of the samsung V200 is betta then the SE T610. does it mean the Samsung v200 is betta the T610 in everything or? coz i dont know which one to take

The V200 screen is a the better one I know until today. TFD technology is fabulous and Samsung invested lot of money to integrate these screens on S100, V200 and all future phones to come. Yes, the V200 screen remains clearly VISIBLE outdoor and even under sunlight! IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE ME TRY THE V200 SCREEN BY YOURSELF!
But it isn't the same with the T610 screen. Unfortunately the STN technology doesn't allow a good brightness in outdoor. However the screen is excelent indoor...

Although STN screens has problems in bright light situations, you can get around the problem by holding the screen toward the bright light (the sun for example). If you do that the screen is highly visible even in bright light conditions.

I think that the samsung wrist watch has only 256 colors (correct me if I am wrong)
